Professional Experience: He has spent
training camps with several AFL teams and played three seasons
for the Canadian Football League’s Calgary Stampeders. Played
for the San Diego Riptide (af2) in 2004.
College: While at BYU, Feterik was a
1999 finalist for the Davey O’Brien award, given annually
to the nation’s top collegiate quarterback... He is fifth
on the school’s history in passing yards (8,065) and ninth
in career TD’s (53)... Feterik was named to the All-WAC (Western
Athletic Conference) second team twice and honorable mention
once... He was also named WAC offensive player of the week
three times during his senior season. Played at BYU from 1996-1999.
In 1996 in one game, was 5 for 8 (62.5) for 26 yards with
a touchdown and an interception. In 7 games in 1997 was 125
for 208 (60.1) for 1,767 yards with 11 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
In 14 games in 1998, Feterick was 202 for 336 (60.1) with
2,718 yards, 16 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Best season
came in 1999 where he played in 10 games and was 252 for 411
(61.3) for 3,139 yards, 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Majored in Business.
Personal: Lettered
in baseball and football at Los Alamitos High in Orange County,
Calif... Named all-state as a quarterback following his junior
and senior years in high school. Born 9/14/77.
