PROFILE:

FIFL Experience: Drafted 7th overall in the 1st round of the 2024 FIFL Draft by the Fort Wayne Safari. Before splitting time at HB, Jame's rookie debut, James ran 37 times for 154 yards in a 20-13 win at Marion (9-1-24). The 37 attempts is tied for 4th for most attempts rushing in a game.

Professional Experience: Played for the San Francisco 49ers from 2012-2013 and Miami Dolphins from 2014-2015. Drafted in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL Draft, 61st overall. Rushed 44 times for 1932 yrds, and caught 5 passes for 45 yards in his NFL career. He had 4 TD's in his career, all receptions.

College: Played at Oregon from 2009-2011, totalling 5,082 yards rushing. Had a career best in 2011 when he ran 247 times for 1,805 yards and 18 TD's. Had 1,546 yards and 14 TD's in 2009 and 1,731 yards and 21 TD's in 2010.

Personal: James was born in New Boston, Texas to on October 22, 1989. James attended Liberty-Eylau High School in Texarkana, Texas, where he played for the Liberty-Eylau Leopards high school football team. As a sophomore, he rushed for 643 yards and 10 touchdowns on 76 carries. In his junior season, he totaled 1,600 yards and 16 touchdowns on 229 carries while adding 500 yards receiving and three touchdowns on 33 receptions. James continued his dominance during his senior campaign to the tune of 2,043 yards and 24 touchdowns on 230 touches, averaging 8.9 yards per carry. Considered a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, James was listed as the No. 12 all-purpose back in the nation in 2008.
