FIFL Experience: Had his best season
in 1999 with Erie when he ran for a career best 393 yards
on 68 carries (5.8). Had a career long 62-yard rush in 2001
with Springfield, while also setting a career best year in
receptions as he had 7 catches for 70 yards and a touchdown,
with a long of 44.
Professional Experience: Played for
the Sioux Falls Falcons (semi-pro) in 1999. Skoog joined the
Sioux Falls Cobras (IFL) in 2000 where he lead the team with
567 rushing yards and 23 total touchdowns in 13 games... In
2000 he ran 163 times for 567 yards (3.5) with 19 touchdowns
while catching 14 passes for 71 yards (5.1) with four touchdowns.
Released by the Sioux Falls Storm on 5/17/2001 after losing
his starting job due to injury. At the time of his injury,
Skoog lead the team in rushing. Through five games, Skoog
ran 60 times for 182 yards (3.0) with seven touchdowns...also
caught 11 passes for 61 yards (5.5).
College: In 1996, ran 176 times for 1,135
yards (6.2) and had 27 catches for 487 yards (18.0), scoring
22 total touchdown for Northern State.
