Trades - 2000 Season

Week 11

Bismarck sends QB Eric James to Fargo for QB Jarrod DeGeorgia.

Jarrod DeGeorgia gets a second chance at starting with his new team. James comes to Fargo where he will assume backup duties.

Fargo sends WR Scott Persing to Duluth for WR Jeremy Calhoun and a 3rd round draft pick.

Fargo gives up the younger Persing for Calhound, but does manage a lower draft pick in the 2001 draft. Calhoun lead the FIFL in 1999 with 94 catches for 1,348 yards but has been slow to reaching these same numbers in 2000 as he has totaled 37 catches for 467 yards.

Week 5

Fargo sends FB Ricardo Jones, G Cedric Byrd, DT Tawaine Temple and S Donald Harris to Duluth for FB Dexter General, C Josh McMillan, DT Kenneth Bouie, S Marvin Hooker and their 6th, 7th and 8th round draft picks.

Huge trade for Duluth as they add youth on all sides of the ball while Fargo gains veteran strength and a few extra draft picks.

Duluth sends G Jason Flanders to Portland for FB Anthony Collins

Portland gives up a young prospect in Collins for some help on the Offensive line.

Week 4

Duluth sends DE John Evans to Colorado for DE Doug Lytle, a 4th and an 8th round draft pick.

The Lumberjacks get some draft picks along with the tough Doug Lytle who has 12 tackles and 3 sacks in his career. Colorado gets some youth in Evans, who so far has 7 tackles and 2 sacks in 3 games.

Fargo trades CB Pat Davis to Duluth for QB Major Harris

Fargo's offense is sputtering and hopes Major Harris is the answer. Davis is a fine rookie CB who should blossom if given the right opportunity.

Fort Wayne sends OT Oglesby and a 5th round pick next season to Green Bay for WR Banda and OT Wirkus.

The Green Bay Bombers supe up their line with Oglesby while Fort Wayne gets a speedy-veteran receiver in Banda along with the young T Wirkus. Banda finsihed the 1999 season with 36 catches for 476 yards and 2 toucdowns along with a 13.2 average. Banda has been low on the Bombers depth chart and is looking for a fresh start.

Week 2

Dayton aquires QB Brian Tomalak, WR Anthony Drakeford, LB Andy Chilcote and Green Bay's #2 draft pick for QB John Hebgen, LB Marquis Gibson and TE Klaika Rucker.

The Green Bay Bombers and Dayton Skyhawks made a deal as
QB Tomalak, TE Rucker, and rookie LB Marquis Gibson head to Dayton for QB John Hegben, WR Anthony Drakeford and LB Andy Chilcote as well as Green Bay's #2 draft pick in the 2001 draft.

Week 1

Steel Valley trades QB Major Harris to Duluth for QB Josh Luedtke

Steel Valley apparently wasn't impressed with Major Harris and his 22 touchdowns and Eastern Division title as the Smash trade him to Duluth for a younger yet less talented Josh Luedtke. Luedtke does have the talent to be a top-10 quarterback.
