FIFL Experience: Named 2004 Rookie of
the Year as he converted 31/31 extra points (100.0) and was
24/33 (72.7) on field goals. Awarded Offensive Player of the
Game in week 3 of 2004. Shares the record for most PAT's in
a game with no misses (7), which occured on November 27, 2016.
Other than his kicking and tackle numbers above, Alcorn is
credited for 4 carries for -27 yards.
Professional Experience: Holds the AFL
record with 32 field goals made during the 1999 season...A
two-time All-AFL Second-Team selection (1997, 1999)...His
83 career field goals made ranks fourth in league history...Has
kicked 13 field goals from 50-yards or longer in his AFL career...Has
converted over 74 percent (58 of 78) of his field goal attempts
from inside 40 yards...Became the 14th kicker to perform in
a regular season game for San Jose after being signed as a
free agent on July 13, 2001. Attended training camp with XFL’s
Orlando Rage in 2001... Earned title 'Mr. Irrelevant' for
being last pick in the last round (8th) of the 1993 NFL draft
by Tampa Bay...In 1995 he kicked for Frankfurt Galaxy, who
won World League of American Football...Attended NFL camps
with New York Giants and Chicago Bears.
College: First Mid-American Conference
player to earn first-team all-conference as both punter and
placekicker (1993)…Hit 21-of-28 FGs as a senior with a career-best
53-yarder coming with :03 left to beat Toledo.
Personal: Born
on May 12, 1971 in Vancouver, Washington…Works full-time for
DYNEA OVERLAYS INC., an overlay company that sends plywood
to plants all over the world...He and his wife Alexandra reside
in Vancouver with their two children, Grant and Christian.
