PROFILE:

FIFL Experience: Drafted 39th overall by the Dayton Skyhawks in the 3rd round of the 2014 FIFL Draft. Was 19 of 25 for 236 yards and 2 TD's in his first career start in week 14 of the 2016 season. During relief win, was 10 of 13 for 184 yards and 3 TD's in a 31-30 win over Battle Creek week 6 of the 2019 season. Lost the following week at home vs Rochester 24-10 as he was 25 of 45 for 260 yards with a TD and an INT. Week 7 of 2020, started and won 32-29 at Battle Creek and was 35 of 45 for 434 yards and 2 TD's. Additional stats, had 2 tackles in 2023. Recordbook related, had 352 completions in 2022, which is just short of the record of 356 by Nick Davilla who had 356 in 2019.

Professional Experience: Drafted 239th overall in the 7th round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. Chris Greisen played from 1999 to 2012 with the Arizona Cardinals, Rhein Fire, Dallas Desperados, Georgia Force, Florida Tuskers, Milwaukee Iron and Virginia Destroyers. Greisen threw for 18,340 yards in his career, completing 1,482 of 2,168 passes with 350 touchdowns and 52 interceptions. He also ran for 198 yards in 110 attempts with 17 rushing touchdowns.

College: As a freshman in 1995, he posted 13-of-31 completions for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns. As a sophomore in 1996, he made 15-of-28 completions for 284 yards and one touchdown. As a junior in 1997, he became a starter, tallying 155-of-272 completions for 2,456 yards, 23 passing touchdowns, 7 interceptions and one rushing touchdown. As a senior in 1998, he recorded 200-of-332 completions for 2,937 yards, 25 passing touchdowns and 5 rushing touchdowns. He also led the Bearcats to a 15-0 mark and their first ever NCAA Division II Football Championship. He compiled a career 27-1 winning record, graduated with 9 school passing records, including being first on the All-time list for single-season touchdowns (25) and passing yards (2,937). He earned Academic All-MIAA honors as a sophomore, while taking MIAA Player of the Year honors in 1998. In 2007, he was inducted into the Northwest Missouri State M-Club Hall of Fame. In 2012, he was inducted into the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Hall of Fame.

Personal: Born 7-2-76 in Berlin, Wicconsin. Attended Sturgeon Bay Highschool in Wisconsin. Greisen earned a degree in physical education with a minor in mathematics from Northwest Missouri State. He taught at Notre Dame Academy and is a convert to Catholicism from Lutheranism. He also runs the Chris Greisen Quarterback Academy during the season at Texas Stadium and through the offseason in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Greisen is the older brother of former NFL linebacker Nick Greisen.
