FIFL Experience: Originally drafted by
the Madison Mad Dogs in the 4th round (64th overall) in the
2001 FIFL Draft. With four teams in his career. Traded to
Louisiana in the 2006 off-season in one of the leagues biggest
trades, however cut after an 0-2 start. Had his best season
for Steel Valley in 2005, also going 6-8 as a starter. For
his career, he is 9-18 as a starter.
Professional Experience: First round
draft pick of the Washington Federals in 1983...was the Federal's
starting QB for two seasons...also saw action over a two-year
period in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and the Ottawa
Rough Riders...played in two games with the Chicago Bears
in 1987 as a replacement player...won both games throwing
four touchdowns before suffering a knee injury...member of
the Pittsburgh Gladiators in 1987...credited with throwing
the first touchdown pass in AFL history.
College: Was an all-America quarterback
at San Antonio Junior College before transferring to the University
of Minnesota ... as a Golden Gopher (1981-1982), he was the
team’s MVP and the university’s Athlete of the Year after
both seasons ... was inducted into the university’s M Club
Hall of Fame in November 2000.
