FIFL Experience: Drafted by Mississippi
in the 2006 FIFL Draft. Released by Mississippi and picked
up by Portland prior to training camp.
Professional Experience: Solomon played
four seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles (1995-98). Was the
third selection of the Cleveland Browns in the 1999 Expansion
Draft. In 43 career NFL games, Solomon totaled 58 catches
for 773 yards and four touchdowns...Tore Achilles tendon in
his left foot during the 2002 training camp and missed the
entire 2002 AFL season.
College Experience: Texas Tech...
2001: Received the Alamo Bowl’s Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship
Award … caught fourth touchdown pass of the season against
SFA ... finished the game with three receptions for 33 yards
... had two catches for 12 yards against OU ... scored on
a four-yard strike from Kingsbury at OSU ... finished the
game with three receptions for 12 yards ... caught two balls
for 13 yards against Texas A&M ... had three catches for 17
yards at Baylor ... utilized height to reach up into the rafters
