FIFL Experience: Led the Rattlers to
a 2001 FIFL Bowl appearance... finished the 2001 season as
the Leagues MVP, the FIFL Bowl Offensive MVP and named to
the National Conference All-Pro Team... Also a member of the
2002 National Conference and 2004 American Conference All-Pro
Team. Had 7 career tackles.
Professional Experience: Played QB for
the Texas Terror in 1997 where he was 65-105 for 792 yards
with 13 touchdowns and 6 interceptions... returned to the
indoor game with the Peoria Pirates in 2000 where he lead
the Pirates to a perfect 14-0 regular season record and went
on to with the Gold Cup... Porter finished the 2000 season
117-205 for 1,532 yards with 38 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
College: Played college football at Oklahoma
State and started as a true freshman in 1993.
Personal: Gary
Porter coached the Mohegan Wolves (af2) to a 3-13 record in
2002... Was the head coach of the Peoria Pirates (af2) where
he led the Pirates to a fourth place finish and 7-9 record.
They had the top-rated run defense in af2.
