FIFL Experience: Drafted 4th overall
in the 2002 FIFL draft by the Fargo Freeze. 2002 FIFL Rookie
of the Year, and 2002 Offensive Rookie of the Year. Member
of the National Conference All-Pro Team in 2006. Awarded Offensive
Player of the Game 20 times in his career, and Offensive Player
of the Week twice.
Professional Experience: Starting quarterback
for Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe in 1998...played for
Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League from 1995-97...spent
1994 training camp with the Green Bay Packers. In 2000, started
11 games and helping Rams set NFL records for passing yards
and total yards….completed 235 of 346 passes for 3,429 yards
with 21 touchdowns and 18 interceptions…led NFL in completion
percentage (67.7) and average gain (9.88), third in NFC and
seventh in the NFL in third down passing (91.2), and fourth
in the NFC and fifth in the NFL in fourth quarter passing
(98.8)…led Rams to first NFL title since 1951, completing
77 of 121 passes for 1,063 yards with eight touchdowns and
four interceptions (100.0 rating)…passed for Super Bowl record
424 yards in win over Tennessee… NFL Europe 1998: Started
all 10 games for the Admirals...led league in passing yards
(2,101), attempts (326), completions (165) and touchdowns
(15). Arena Football League 1995-1997: Passed for 10,164 yards
and 183 touchdowns in three seasons with the Barnstormers...led
Iowa to two straight Arena Bowl appearances…holds all of Barnstormers’
individual passing records.
College: Gateway Conference offensive
player of the year senior season at Northern Iowa...led the
conference in total offense and passing efficiency...passed
for over 300 yards four times...two-time Gateway player of
the week...only started senior season...graduated with a degree
in communications.
