Week 10

Fargo trades HB Clinton Childs to Mobile for a 4th and 7th round draft pick.
Clinton Childs gets a new life in Mobile, where he will start at Fullback. Childs had an impressive game earlier this year at HB1 for Fargo, as he ran for over 100 yards and had 2 touchdowns, however Childs been in the dog house too long with management, so a trade was necessary. Great move for Mobile.

Lincoln trades DT Eddie Bynes to Mississippi for a 2nd round and 5th round draft pick.
Bynes is seldom used which was a shame as he goes from Lincoln to Mississippi for a 2nd round and 5th round pick. Bynes was drafted in the 2003 draft 3rd overall, behind WR Calvin Shexnayder and HB Broderick Sargent. Bynes had 39 tackles and 11.0 sacks in 2007, so is a huge addition for the 'Dogs.

Springfield trades a 4th round draft pick to Fargo for WR Ray Puryear.
Fargo gets rid of the speedy, sure-handed WR Ray Puryear. Springfield loads up WR core with Puryear, and give Gruden yet another weapon.

Madison trades WR Anton Paige, C Bryan Stallings and DE Andrew Marlatt to Steel Valley for DE Keithen DeGrate and CB William Mulder.
Great deal for Madison. DeGrate and Mulder key aquisitions.

Dayton trades TE Jai Hill and 4th round draft pick (STV) to Portland for TE Brian Dolph and 1st round draft pick (POR).
Portland is content in trading draft away for another shot at title. Seems to be the pattern with Prowlers, Bayou Beast and Seagulls.

Wichita trades a 2nd and 4th in 2009 and a 2nd and 4th in 2010 along with WR Herkie Walls, DL Torrie Griffen, LB Jamaal Dinkens to Fargo for WR Adrian Jarrell, DT Rob Stanavitch and LB Dante Williams.
We hope Fargo shows up for the draft with all of these picks they are accumulating.

Louisiana trades T Jerry Leaeno, a 3rd round pick and a 2010 3rd round pick to Fargo for OL Webbie Burnett.
What is Fargo thinking? Burnett was a cornerstone lineman to build around.

Portland trades a 2nd round draft pick to Fargo for G Zach Rix.
Possibly alot for this offensive lineman, however alot of years left in Rix, who can come in and fill in at the Guard or Tackle position.

Mobile trades QB Matthew Sauk, G Mark Bartholomew and CB Pig Prather to Lincoln along with a 3rd round draft pick (DAY) for CB Corey Dowden
Details coming soon.

Week 9

Dayton trades FB Johnny Frost to Madison for FB Rodney Filer and a 4th round draft pick (STV).
Details coming soon.

Dayton trades G Todd Senters to Louisiana for a 6th round draft pick.
Details coming soon.

Madison trades TE John Ostermeyer and T Glen Pilarowski to Steel Valley in exchange for C Robert Theus and a 4th round draft pick.
Details coming soon.

Dayton QB WIllie Totten, HB Rashaan Dumas and T Trevor Misipeka to Louisiana for QB Chris Dittoe, HB Leotis Flowers, HB Michael Blair, T Jesse Black, a LOU 2nd and 4th round draft pick as well as an additional 4th (COL) and 5th (MAD).
Details coming soon.

St. Louis trades LB Brett Wilson to Fort Wayne for LB Ed Chan.
Good deal for Safari. Chen is a low-rated prospect, and may take a while to develop. Wilson has 13 tackles so far in 2008 in limited action.

Week 8

Dayton trades DE Don Johnson and a 3rd round draft pick to Mobile for DT Nate Fluitt and S Paul Franklin.
Don Johnson is a Hall of Famer, and should do well for Mobile. Dayton, while giving up a 3rd, does get some decsent young players in return.

Madison T Ronnie Thompson to St. Louis for WR Anthony Stallworth and LB Ansel George.
St. Louis completely undervalues stars Stallworth and George, trading them away two veterans for one. While Thompson should assume the T2 spot, Stallworth and George we are sure will contribute to Madison's playoff surge - especially George.

Week 7

Madison trades G Gathan McGinnis and T Murry Rhodes to St. Louis for LB Dirk Reesing.
Madison continues to trade, this time aquiring veteran LB Dirk Reesing. Reesing had 26 tackles and 2.0 sacks with St. Louis through week 6, and was finding less time as the Renegades looked to play their youngsters. St. Louis should find the two offensive lineman of use in their plans for the future.

Week 6

Madison trades WR Ira Hillary and a 4th round draft pick to Mobile for LB Mel Mills, CB Jorrick Battle and a 6th round draft pick.
Mobile gets a top WR in Hillary, though he has under-excelled the past few seasons. Hopefully the new scenery will improve his game. For Madison, in aquiring Mills, he claims the LB3 slot, while Battle moves to S2. Battle was aquired from Fort Wayne the previous week and in one game with Mobile had one tackle. Overall we like this deal for Madison.

Week 5

Mobile trades DE Rachman Crable and a 2010 1st round draft pick to Fort Wayne for LB Bobby Jurasin and DB Jorrick Battle.
Mobile gives up so much for these two, immediately we do not like this deal, however time will tell. Crable's long-term value unknown, as well as 1st rounder 2 years down the road.

Week 4

Louisiana trades T James Kirk to Fort Wayne for FB Larry Blue.
Safari load their offensive line. Not sure what to say about Blue - but certainly a capable FB... just not quite yet.

Week 1

Austin trades DE Ricky Wells to Honolulu for LB Joe Jacobs and a 5th round draft pick.
Great deal for Austin - we like the addition of Jacobs, while loss of Wells should not be felt.

Madison trades LB Ed Nwagbaraocha and a 5th round draft pick to Louisiana for WR Rashaan Vanterpool.
Details coming soon.

Colorado trades C Todd Zaborac to Wichita for a 3rd and 5th round draft pick.
Details coming soon.

Colorado trades CB Allistair Sebastian to Mobile for a 3rd round draft pick.
Details coming soon.

Springfield trades a 5th round draft pick to Mobile for T Robert Miller.
Details coming soon.

Pre-Training Camp

Mississippi trades CB Alonzo Hampton and an 8th (STV) round draft pick to Lincoln for LB Derrick Coakley and a 6th.
After failing in the LB Kevin Allen sweepstakes, Mississippi settles for a 1-year filler in Coakley. Lincoln, who is old at DB gets some youth in Hampton.

Mississippi trades PK Pete Elezovic to Louisiana for a 6th round draft pick.
After much discussion with management, the Firedogs decide to give Rienecker one more go at it as the team try's again to re-tool with a veteran backbone. While Elezovic is a stud, Firedogs know there will always be a descent kicker or two in the draft or FA pool.

Black Hills trades WR Ryan Benjamin and LB Kevin Allen to Dayton for a 2nd and 4th round draft pick.
Agressive trade by Dayton in aquiring yet another WR from Black Hills and the most talented LB on the market. Dayton is still in the win-now mode, and they very well could do so, atleast on the offensive side of the ball.

Post-Draft

Steel Valley trades a 4th round draft pick to Dayton for T Chris Bell and LB Josh Lidell.
Hard to tell on this one, as Smash trade away 4th round pick for players we don't think Dayton would have kept.

Steel Valley trades FB Chris Floyd, WR Sir Mawn Wilson, CB Shawn Hackett and a 2nd round pick to Madison for G Greg Swartwoudt, DE John Corker, LB Johnny Sherwood and CB DaWuan Miller.
Details coming soon.

Mississippi trades QB Major Harris to Steel Valley for an 8th round draft pick.
Major Harris finds his way home. Harris began his career 10 years ago in Wheeling, where he lead the Smash to a 9-5 record.

Draft

Mobile trades WR Adrian Reese and S Rod Brown to Billings for WR Jeremy Dutcher.
Details coming soon.

Mobile trades a 2009 1st, a 2009 2nd and C Randy Hart to Madison for G Eric Arrington.
Details coming soon.

Austin Trades their 2008 2nd, 2008 5th, and WR Sir Mawn Wilson to Madison for Madison's 2009 1st round draft pick.
Details coming soon.

Colorado trades their 4th round draft pick in 2009 and rookie DT Pat Jablonski to Louisiana for their 2008 4th round draft pick and rookie HB Butler By'not'te.
Well. Apparently Colorado wanted a DT instead of a HB, and Louisiana was happy enough to help out. Neither player should have much of any impact this year.

Madison trades LB Clarence Siler to Springfield for a 2008 3rd round draft pick.
Siler has 39 career tackles and 2.0 sacks. Interesting trade, as we arent sure about this one yet. Siler looks to be a LB5 this year at most.

Mississippi trades their 2009 3rd round draft pick to Austin for their 2008 3rd round draft pick. (Cancelled)
Details coming soon.

Madison trades their 2nd round pick in 2009 to Fort Wayne for rookie QB Todd Marinovich.
Details coming soon.

Pre-Draft

Madison trades a 1st round (12th overall), a 3rd round in 2009, G Darren Rothenberg and DE John Sikora to Springfield for a 1st round pick (5th overall).
Madison is the first to make a move up in the draft.
